I have collected lots of great Easter and Spring ideas on my Pinterest Board
and also on Easter; Bunnies, Eggs, and Stuffs
Check them out if you’re still making plans.
I used the following inspirations to help plan our Easter Fun week.
After, I’ll post pictures of all the fun we had.
I’ll be reading a couple kid friendly books I found about the REAL Easter Story
(I have a bunny book or two also)
I printed off these Easter Story Sequencing Cards from Sparkle Box,
I will use when telling the story.
For a craft we’ll be making a paper plate empty tomb inspired by this post
For a snack or maybe even breakfast Easter morning,
I’ll be cooking up these easy Empty Tomb Rolls from Catholic Icing
Some fun learning trays I will set out during the week include:
DIY Nesting Eggs by H is for Homeschooling
and this feed the Bunny Game also from her.
Bunny Tails Match by Reading Confetti.
I printed hers off, it’s a great idea!
but then got to thinking I probably need to focus on more basic colors for Bam Bam.
I googled for a bunny picture then printed it out on to colored construction paper,
cut them out, and laminated.
We will use pom pom magnetics for the bunny tails.
We will be making a spring necklace by lacing cut up straw beads and foam flowers.
Another lacing activity I have planned is using the plastic flower rings I got on sale and sliding them on to large pipe cleaner “vines”
I also picked up some egg shaped chalk, thinking we’ll use that outside on the back patio.
Our Church is planning a small egg hunt for the children after church on Sunday,
that we will most likely attend
but I am more excited about the tiny twist I’ve planned for
Growing a Jeweled Rose’s Easter Bath (hint: No Diving Allowed)
for that afternoon.
Well that’s the plan….we will see how much it gets changed during the week :-)
It’s just a season, we’re trying to have fun in it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
